D&D: Ghosts of Saltmarsh (EN)

Nestled on the coast of the Azure Sea is Salzmarsch, a sleepy fishing village on the brink of destruction. Smugglers steer their ships to hidden coves and slit the necks of anyone who crosses their path. Beneath the waves, cruel Sahuagin gather and plot the destruction of one coastal town or another. Drowned sailors rise to unnatural life using dark magic and seek vengeance. The cult of a forbidden deity reaches out from a decaying harbor for sacrifices and willing recruits. While Saltmarsh sleeps, the forces seeking to plunder it grow stronger. Heroes must step up to the plate to ensure the safety of the shipping routes.

This volume presents the city of Salzmarsch, the perfect starting point for a campaign about seafaring and the sea. Seven sea-related adventures, including the classic "The Dark Secret of Saltmarsh" and its sequels, guide characters from 1st to 12th level. Rules and game master tips on ships and sea voyages are also included, e.g. plans for sea vessels. The appendix provides rules for the new and classic monsters in the adventures.
